Nancy Knobloch led the team in total points and Michelle Pfister was the Good Sportsmanship Award winner.

The team was once again led by Nancy Knoblach in team points as the team finished 2nd to Tech in the Section 1 Championship. Only 4 girls competed at Districts as the team finished in 7th place. Karen Gutting won both the 110 and 220 yard dashes, while tying the district record in the 220.

Lauren Lechner was awarded the trophy for the most team points as she earned 176 points throughout the season. Eight girls qualified for states as the team finished 4th behind Tech, Warren, and Strong Vincent. In the Metro, the team tied Academy with 3rd place with a 3-2-1 record.

Under the direction of Rick Kissman, the girls' team won their first Metro Championship

Michelle Brown led the team as she was the Metro and District champ, as well as placing 2nd at states in the 800 meter run. At states she set a new school record time of 2:13.5. Lisa Stillings led the team in scoring, and placed in a 15th place tie in the high jump. The 2-mile relay team finished in 15th place as well. The Mile relay team set a new district record with a time of 4:09.
