2020

The outdoor season was cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. During the indoor season, Joe Kurelowech was the lone qualifier for the state meet in Pole Vault.  He placed 5th at the TSTCA Championship.  Freshman, Christian Mattern set the indoor school record in the Mile. 

2021

At the district meet, Caleb Brobst placed in both the Discus (3rd) and the Shot Put (4th).  Zachary Hollenbeck placed in both the 100 (6th) and the 200 (7th).  Caleb Willis placed in both the 1600 (6th) and the 3200 (6th).  Greg Berlin placed 3rd in the Pole Vault.  Ray Jackson also placed 3rd in the Long Jump. 

2022

For the first time since 2018, the boys' track team won the Region title as they tied with General McLane.  The team came close to winning the district title, but they came 5.5 points short to Slippery Rock.  Christian Mattern set the indoor 800, 1600, and 3200 meter records.  At districts, he won the 1600.  It was the first time since 1998 that a runner from McDowell won that event.  Kamden Kramer, Nicolin Pierce and Caleb Willis joined him as district champs in the 4 x 800.  Nicolin also won the 800 meter run.  Benny Whitaker was the 200 meter champ.  Christian Santiago won the district championship in the Javelin.  It was the first title in that event in 20 years.  He also went on to place 12th at the state meet.  

2023

For the first time since 2017, the boys' track team won the district title. The team also won the Region title for the second straight year.  Senior, Christian Mattern, broke two indoor school records.  He broke his own record in the Mile, and broke Caleb Cordell's 3000 record from 2012.  He was a member of the 4 x 800 relay team that won at districts.  Kamden Kramer broke the school record in the 3200 with  a 9:20.25. Chris Spurlin had the record from 1989.  Kamden was also a member of the 4 x 800 team.  Benny Whitaker was the district champ in the 100, and also qualified for states in the 200.  Rayjier Jackson (TJ), Christian Santiago (Jav), Ryan Visosky (Dis), Deacon Pearce (4 x 800), and Nicolin Pearce (4 x 800) were also district champs.  

2024

Benny Whitaker led the team as a 4-time state qualifier (100, 200, 4 x 100, and 4 x 400).  He was the District champ in all, but the 4 x 100.  He set the school record in the 100 meter dash with a 10.69 (Laban Marsh, 10.75- 1997). Camden Pierce won two events at Districts (800, 4 x 400).  Kamden Kramer was the runn-up in the 1600 and 3200.
