2010
The 2010 boys finished 2nd in both the Region 6 duals and the invitational. They were led by All-Region runners: Brian Thiesen (2nd-Regions, 13th- Districts), Caleb Cordell (3rd- Regions, 6th- Districts), Nate Law (9th- Regions, 39th- Districts), Brian Murray (11th- Regions, 27th- Districts), Adam Swartzfager (13th- Regions, 32nd- Districts), and Robbie Sontheimer (14th- Regions, 37th- Districts). Elliott Haire also led the team with a 15th place finish at Regions, and a 25th place finish at districts.
2011
​Leading the team were All-Region runners: Nate Law (6th-Regions), Robbie Sontheimer (9th), Adam Swartzfager (10th), and Caleb Cordell (12th). At the district meet, Caleb led the team with a 16th place finish, followed by Nate Law (17th), and Robbie Sontheimer (20th).​​
2012
Leading the team were All-Region runners: Dante Stefanelli (5th- Region), Zach Dulabon (7th), Keegan Fordyce (8th), Nate Law (9th), and Dan Mandus (11th). Nate Law led the team at districts (6th) and was the only member to qualify for states, where he finished 171st. Keegan Fordyce, only a freshman, finished 10th at Districts, and just missed qualifying for states. Zach Dulabon finished 11th at districts and Dante Stefanelli finished 15th. Another freshman, Dillon Mohr, also made an impact, finishing 16th at the Region Championship. The young team finished second to Cathedral Prep at both Regions and Districts. Only two out the top ten runners were seniors, that including two freshman, and three sophomores.
2013
The team avenged its dual meet loss to Cathedral Prep by beating them at both the Region 6 Championship, and the District 10 Championship. Leading them at districts was Dante Stefanelli (3rd), Zach Dulabon (6th), Keegan Fordyce (9th), and Nathan Mosier (14th).
2014
​​​Freshman, Ryan Zimmerman led the team as the Region 6 and District 10 champ. Keegan Fordyce and Michael Brink joined Ryan on the 1st team All-Region 6 team. John Paul Bielanin was 2nd team All-Region. Ben Nichilo finished 6th at districts. Behind him was Keegan Fordyce (7th), Corey Matteo (8th), John Paul Bielanin (9th), Dillon Mohr (11th), and Michael Brink (12th).
1968
The 1968 cross country team had 19 new runners, but still managed a successful season with 9 wins and only 2 losses. The team won the Central Catholic Invitational, took 2nd at Section 1, lost districts to Strong Vincent, and placed 6th at the state meet. The team was led by All-State runner, and captain, Jon Bannister, and captain Jay Pratt, who finished 10th at districts. Bannister finished 12th at the state meet to tie the highest finish ever by a McDowell runner.
1969
2015
Ryan Zimmerman became the 1st McDowell boy to repeat as the district champ, as only a sophomore. Sophomore Jack Holmberg qualified for states with a 8th place finish at districts. Dillon Mohr also qualified with a 9th place finish at districts. Jacob Lawrence also contributed with a 12th place finish.
2016
Earning 1st team All-Region honors were Ryan Zimmerman and Jack Holmberg. Jack also led the team at districts (3rd) to qualify for states. Dean Swanson also qualified for states with a 5th place at districts. Jack Kline finished 8th at districts. Earning 2nd team All-Region included Sean Marsden, Nathan Ballay, and freshman Colton Martin.
2017
For the third time in 5 years, the boys' won the District 10 Championship. This year, they dominated Cathedral Prep placing 7 in the top 11 spots, scoring just 20 points. Ryan Zimmerman closed out his career with his third district 10 title. Jack Holmberg was the runner-up, which was only the second time McDowell took 1-2 at districts. Other placers included Jacob Lawrence (4th), Colton Martin (5th), Ryan Sesler (8th), Mitchel Daubert (10th) and Austin Carpinello (11th). Earning 1st team All-Region honors were Zimmerman, Daubert, Martin and Holmberg. Austin Carpinello, Sean Marsden and Nathan Ballay were 2nd team All-Region.
2018
After 35 years as head coach, Jay Pratt coached his last season. Junior Colton Martin led the team as the only state qualifier with a 4th place finish at districts. He was named to the 1st team All-District and 1st team All-Region. Nathan Ballay finished 11th at districts to earn 2nd team All-District. Earning 2nd team All-Region were Eli Louis, Austin Carpinello, Andrey Burykin, Noah Helsley and Jason Visosky.
2019
Under first year head coach, Jeremy Greenberg, the team won the Region title in a tie with Meadville and Cathedral Prep. The team was led by freshman Christian Mattern, and senior Colton Martin. Mattern was 1st team All-Region and 3rd at districts. Martin was 1st team All-Region, and 4th at districts. Earning 2nd team All-Region were: Sophomore Nick Kelley, Sophomore Jaden Levine, Sophomore Landon Owens, Junior Eli Louis, Junior Jason Visosky, and Sophomore Caleb Willis. The young team only had one senior in their top 9.
